Erbil Highway 120 — Privacy Policy

Erbil Highway 120 (“the game”) is a driving game set on the 120m Ring Road of Erbil. This policy explains what data the game uses and why. In short: we do not ask for your real name, email, location, contacts or photos, ads are only shown when you choose to watch one for coins, and we do not sell any data.
1. Data we do not collect
- We never ask for your real name, email address or phone number.
- No location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health data.
- On iPhone the game does not ask for permission to track you, so the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used.
2. Your player name
On first launch you choose a player name (Latin letters and digits, any name you like — it does not have to be your real name). No password is needed. The name is unique: no two players can have the same one, so the game keeps it in public player data on Unity Gaming Services to check new names against it. The player name is your ID in the game and is shown to other players on the in-game leaderboards.
You also choose a country from a list. Its flag is your profile picture and is shown next to your name on the leaderboards. The game does not read your location; the country is only what you pick, and you can change it any time in your profile.
2a. Linking Sign in with Apple (optional)
In SETTINGS you can link your account to Sign in with Apple, so you can get it back on a new phone. Apple then gives the game only an anonymous identifier for your Apple ID; we do not ask Apple for your name or email address. The link is handled by Unity Gaming Services (Authentication). You can stop using it in your Apple ID settings (Sign in with Apple), and DELETE ACCOUNT removes it from the game.
3. Game progress saved online (Unity Gaming Services)
So that you do not lose your progress, the game uses Unity Gaming Services (Authentication and Cloud Save) by Unity Technologies. Under your player account we store only your game progress: coin balance, cars and paint colours you own, the car and colours you chose, the total kilometres you have driven, your full laps of the ring, your longest drive without a crash and which gift codes you have already used. This data is not linked to your real identity and is used only to make the game work. See Unity’s privacy policy: unity.com/legal/privacy-policy.
4. Leaderboards
The game has its own leaderboards (“Most kilometres” and “Most kilometres without a crash”), run on Unity Gaming Services. They show your player name, your country flag, your rank and your kilometres to all players.
4a. Online races (optional)
You can race one other player online: a friend who joins with a room code, or a random player. Only if you start an online race, the game uses Unity Multiplayer Services (Lobby and Relay, Unity Technologies) to find the other player and pass the race data between the two phones. During the race the other player receives your player name, the car type and colour you drive, and your car’s position, speed and distance in the race. The data goes through Unity’s Relay servers, so the other player does not get your IP address. There is no chat, no voice and no free text. The room is removed when the race ends and we keep no record of the race. Unity’s servers see the technical connection data (such as the IP address) needed to connect you, under Unity’s privacy policy.
5. Data kept only on your phone
Settings such as language, sound, graphics quality, steering mode, the last time of day and your race level are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.
6. Advertising and purchases
The game has optional rewarded video ads: an ad is shown only when you tap the button to watch one for coins. The ads are provided by Unity LevelPlay and Unity Ads (Unity Technologies). To show an ad, count views and prevent fraud, their SDK may collect technical information about your device: IP address, device model, operating system, language, app version, an app-specific device identifier (IDFV on iPhone) and, on Android, the Android advertising ID, plus how you interact with the ad. On iPhone we do not ask for tracking permission, so the IDFA is not used. On Android you can reset or delete the advertising ID, or turn off personalised ads, in your phone’s Google settings. This data goes to Unity under its own policy: unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy. We do not receive it in a form that identifies you. Purchases on iPhone are handled by Apple; we never see your payment details.
7. Children
The game does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
8. Deleting your account and data
In the game, open SETTINGS on the main menu and tap DELETE ACCOUNT (twice to confirm). This deletes your player account, your saved progress and your leaderboard entries from Unity Gaming Services. Deleting the game removes the data stored on your phone. You can also email us with your player name and we will delete it for you.
9. Map data
The roads in the game are built from OpenStreetMap data, © OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL). This is public map data and contains no information about you.
